Write for us

Lively Perspective welcomes pitches that help readers notice, frame, make or collect with fresh eyes. We are interested in clear, original ideas that can be explored without specialist equipment, risky procedures or claims of guaranteed results.

What to pitch

Send a concise proposal with a working title, the central idea, why it suits Lively Perspective and the reader takeaway. We welcome visual thinking, photography concepts, small creative experiments, collecting and display ideas, and well-grounded background pieces.

What makes a strong piece

A good pitch has a distinct point, concrete examples and a scope that fits one article. Tell us what readers will notice or try, what might not work, and what materials or assumptions the idea depends on. Avoid recycled listicles, unsupported claims and advice that requires professional or local-rule checks.

Sending a proposal

Use the Contact page and choose the editorial question option to send your proposal. Include any relevant writing samples in the message itself; do not send confidential material. A pitch is not a promise of publication, and we will discuss terms before accepting commissioned work.

What we believe

A second look can change the whole picture.

We like experiments that start small: move an object, shift your viewpoint, or leave something out. Keep what works; the awkward attempts are part of seeing differently.
